Hollow Smile is OUT NOW!!!
Thank you to all those who came out to our launch event hosted by The Brickmakers yesterday. You helped us raise nearly £200 for The British Legion on that one night. Nov 9th
2 days to go until the release of Hollow Smile. The Cd's are ready, the digital distribution is sorted and we are ready to raise some cash for The Royal British Legion. Remember all proceeds from sales of Hollow Smile goes to this great charity.
We have been able to arrange for some hard copies of the album to be sold locally in selected outlets, so check out the Shop and Music page to find your local retailer and also links to the sites you can download the album from.

The Chill will be on Radio Norwich on Monday (20th Oct) doing an interview and playing one of the songs off 'Hollow Smile'

WOW!! What a weekend!!! A massive thank you to all those who attendend the 2nd Robin Hood Trikers Rally at Sherbrooke. It was an honour opening the weekend for you guys, and we hope you had a great time coz we sure did. Hope to see you all next year. Pics of the weekend. More coming soon.

August 7th
Well, Hollow Smile is recorded.
We spent yesterday in at The Mill recording studio in Diss with Jonathan and have recorded all the parts to the 6 tracks in the album. Kev in going back to Tuesday to do some tweaks with the mix and then we're all done. Watch this space for a making of video and samples of the tracks will be coming soon exclusivly to myspace.

Has it really been 6 months since we last wrote anything on here!!???!!!!
Well whats happened with The Chill in the last 6 months??
Bloody loads.
We have started gigging loads, recorded a live CD, and have put lots of music online for you people to download.
We are well on the way to finishing writing our second album
We have been videoing all our gigs to make some new LIVE videos
So we may not of writen much on here recently, but the wheels are still turning.

Casting Call
The Chill are now working on there new single Buzby, and are looking for cast for the video.
There are 4 parts up for grabs:
Mr Jones, Buzbys father, approx age 50
Dave, Buzbys best friends, approx age 20's
Mr Smith, shop keeper/owner/manager, approx age 40-60
Sally, Buzbys girlfriend, approx age 20's
The video will be shot in Norwich or surrounding area, so you must be able to get to this area. We regret we cannot pay you to be in the video but you never know it could provide good exposure to you.

The Chill will be special guests on Future Radios Afternoon Session with Radio Ross Patzelt, chatting about The Chill, music, nonsense, and reviewing some new releases.

It is with regret we must inform you of the decision of Alex to leave The Chill. Alex's influence, musicianship has been a great force within the band since Kev and Adam first conceived the idea, and if not for him Jon and therefore Tom would not have signed up. Alex's decision to leave does not mean his will no longer be a close friend of The Chill nor does it mean he will not be involved in future projects with the band. The 4 remaining members are currently reworking material, and are preparing for life as a 4 piece.

Wow! Been a long time since we last had something to tell you!
We would like to thank both Avenue Middle School and Drayton Middle Schools in Norwich for the fantastic warm reception we had when we played there on Monday and Tuesday as part of our 2007 School Tour. You guys were great and the master classes we hosted has some very promising young writers, singers and musicians. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did, and the card you produced will be put online as soon as we can.

Those in the East Norfok are may be interested to tune into Radio Norwich 99.9, The Beach FM or North Norfolk Radio on Monday 29th Jan, as at 6:30pm The Chill will have a half hour slot including, interviews, tracks from the album and an acoustic track.

November 27th - To Be Announced - OUT NOW
After many months of mixing, rerecording, swearing, and tweaking we are done.
To Be Announced is now out. Available from indiestore.com and hard copies available from our shop here by mail order.
Human is also now out as our second single, and PUSH is still avaliable.
We'd aslo like to give a big shout out and thanks to all those that came to the Prince of Wales on Sunday night to join us in our launch party. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
September 22nd - To Be Announced
Our debut album "To Be Announced" is due for release with our second single "Human" on November 27th. To Celebrate we are holding an official launch party at The Prince of Wales in Norwich on the 26th November with free signed CD's to give away. Doors open at 7pm
August 24th - Been a while
Has been a while since we updated you last so here goes....
Thank you to everyone that has come out to support us over the last few weeks when we have been gigging. Was great to see you all, and to finially meet some of you who have shown interest on this website or myspace.
We now have 2 music distributors, Popworldpromotes.com is still going strong, and you can now also download our material from arkade.com where this is more than one song available and (fingers crossed) our album should be available through there by the end of October.

June 4th - Thank You!
Everyone at The Chill would like to thank the shoppers of Norwich for all there support yesterday while we were doing our buskers gig. We really enjoyed ourselves and hope you did to.
Also, as of 10am today, The Chill are sitting in the TOP 10 on the popworld promotes chart. This is thanks to you voting and buy the single PUSH! Thank you for your support.

To celebrate the release The Chill are playing a 1 off acoustic gig at The Plough on St Benedicts in Norwich on Saturday 3rd June from 8pm, If you can't make it you can catch them outside Jarrolds playing an exclusive buskers gig to the busy shoppers of Norwich. Come down and get some free goodies!
May 8th - Buskers Gig
On June 3rd at approx. 10am The Chill will be appearing live in the streets of Norwich. They have secured a location outside Jarrolds and are hoping to be doing their full set acoustically. This is a rare opportunity and far from the normal environment and set up the band normally use. Kev said 'We have always wanted to have the opportunity to take our music to the public rather than relying on people turning up to the venue we are at. We will play as much material as possible and will play material that isn’t in our normal set.' The Band have arranged for some free goodies to be available as well as the normal merchandise and plan to be there all day. So pop down and give your support.
May 5th - BAD NEWS!
It appears that our distribution company 'APPLECORR' has gone out of business. This means our debut single PUSH! will be delayed in coming out. We are currently looking at several different companies and will keep you informed as to our progress.

Feb 28th - Single Date
It is with great excitment i can now confirm the release date of The Chill's debut single PUSH! June 5th is the date, and it will be released through AppleCorr and be available on digital download via HMV.co.uk, Virgin.com, and all other good online stores. Make sure you buy it! In fact buy 2!
January 25th - Great news!
The Chills official merchandise shop is now OPEN! (Mimes cutting a ribbon) This will be the place for all your official merchandise. At present there are only 2 lines available a CD Sampler and T-Shirt. Over the next couple of weeks we will be getting some free badges made up to distribute at gigs. These will also come free with every online order. When you order online you have the security of knowing your payment will be taken by Pay Pal.
To coincide with this we would also like to let you know that we’ll be going into the studio in late February early March to record our debut CD. This will (hopefully) be available in April in a 5 track EP format and then the full album will be released in the summer. These will of course be available online and at gigs prior to general release. Keep checking back and we will update you as to our progress, samples and track listings. The CD Sampler that is now available is strictly limited edition and once the album is released in the summer will not be available. So for those of you that are collectors this could be worth something in a few years if our album is as successful as we hope, especially if you get the band to sign it for you.

Coming very soon there will be a selection of merchandise from The Chill. T-Shirts, Badges, CD's. These will be available at gigs, and online with PayPal so you know your protected. We are hoping to get this up and running by the end of January so keep your eyes out.

We would like to thank all those that came to The Bridge last night. Your warm reception made it the best gig we've played to date. It was a great way to start our gigging in 2006. Thank you all very much and we hope to see you all soon. Keep checking back to find out when we're playing next.

Finally after a series of trials and attempts we have finally got our music online. There is now a music link on the navigation bar and this will take you to a mini site where we have uploaded full length tracks for you to listen to. These currently can not be downloaded.

We at the Chill would like to congratulate Kev and Heather on the birth of baby Jack Dylan who was born on Saturday 8th October at 9:45am weighing 8 pounds. Mother and baby are doing well.
